Tinkari Bench

Tinkari Bench is an Android application that assists electronics repair technicians throughout the entire repair workflow — from initial tear-down through to reassembly and quality check.

Bench is available to all Tinkari subscribers (including the Free tier) and connects to the Tinkari platform for AI features and, for Pro/Enterprise users, stock lookups via Tinkari Inventory.

• Job management — create and manage repair jobs with full customer detail, stored locally on device (SQLite) so it works completely offline.
• Guided tear-down — step-by-step repair tracking; log each step as you go.
• AI photo scan — point your camera at a component or board and let Gemini AI identify parts, suggest fault diagnosis, and recommend next steps. Rate limited by tier.
• Speech-to-text notes — dictate notes hands-free while working.
• Parts & stock lookup — check whether a part is in stock via Tinkari Inventory, and see what alternatives are available.
• Competency-aware AI — set your experience level and job type in your profile so AI responses are pitched at the right level for you.
• Offline-first — core job management works without an internet connection. AI and sync features require connectivity.

Bench is built with B4X (Android) and B4i (iOS — planned). The AI backend uses Google Gemini 2.0 Flash via the Tinkari API proxy.
